And lastly, when keen-eyed ancients peered at the rising full moon, did they not see this goddess and tell of her in myth? Was she always considered to be a moon goddess, or was she sometimes thought to be an earth goddess reflected in a "shining mirror" we call the moon? What exactly are the limits of geographical imagery? When will we know?
